Santander’s Cultivate Small Business was created to help early-stage entrepreneurs build and sustain businesses in the food industry, with a focus on woman-, immigrant-, and BIPOC-owned businesses. The program is a completely FREE 12 week mini-MBA for eligible entrepreneurs. Along with a food-focused curriculum, the program provides industry expert advice and small capital grants. Our Fall 2024 cohort is open to entrepreneurs in the Dallas, Miami and Philadelphia areas. Applications are due June 17, 2024. The 12-week virtual program runs September 5th to November 20th. Capital grants ranging from $2,500 to $13,000. Businesses must be are woman-, immigrant-, or BIPOC-owned in the food industry, operation for one year, have revenue between $25,000 and $1,000,000 in the last calendar year.

Applications for the 2024 Fall Cohort of WEL will open on May 1.
The program will take place virtually every Monday from 2 to 4 P.M. ET starting on September 16, 2024 and concluding on December 9, 2024. Live classes will not take place on October 14 and November 25.
A maximum of 20 applicants will be selected. A committee consisting of industry leaders, WEL alumnae, and James Beard Foundation staff will review all applications. Applicants will be notified by August 1.

Cherry Bombe’s annual Jubilee Conference is happening Saturday, April 20 at Center415 in Manhattan!
The Bombesquad Marketplace at Jubilee which allows members to showcase their brand & products in a specially priced activation area.
This is a great opportunity for your brand to sample or showcase your product to hundreds of attendees, along with other brands that participate in Jubilee every year. Up to 12 brands will be selected to showcase their product during one of the programming breaks. The cost to participate is $750 per brand.
The deadline to submit is Wednesday, Jan. 31st. You must be a member with a paid membership to apply. Non-members are not eligible. Participating brands will be chosen by the editorial team. Please note, filling out the form does not guarantee placement.
